Home Grown Denver Tennis
Game-Set-Match, Inc. was founded in 1989 by Adam Burbary. After years of playing and teaching, Adam opened the first location near I-25 and Arapahoe Rd. The company established momentum through teaching as well as the retail business and a 2nd location opened in 2005. Fast forward to today, Game-Set-Match, Inc. operates three retail stores and three pro shops, has a dedicated staff which serves a loyal customer base and has built an enduring business.
Rachel Heise, general manager, has been involved with tennis most of her life. She took lessons from Adam at a young age, was on the varsity team in high school and continues league play today. She and Adam share a long and dynamic history on and off the court.
Why We're Different
We are serious about tennis and customer service. We offer a 24-hour guarantee on stringing (same day availability when possible), we run around town picking up and dropping off racquets, we’ve exchanged shoes under unusual circumstances and just about daily we work with players of all types and ages. We are accessible and responsive every way possible. Our staff is primarily comprised of tennis loving, tennis playing enthusiasts who played in high school and/or college and who continue to play today.
Our 27-year kinship and connection with Colorado tennis is rooted in –
We have both survived and thrived amid changes in the sporting goods industry, the tennis industry, the digital age, big box shopping, price wars, consumer buying trends and more.
Mostly, we have thrived because of you…our valued and loyal customers and we thank you. We will continue providing you outstanding service, selection and experience.
